Golf Clubs

There are many many golf club manufacturers selling their wares on the internet—some good and some perhaps not so good. We have tried to put together the best that in our opinion provide both the service and quality a golfer needs. Price is a huge factor and we are not ashamed to be offering both original makes and clones. On the right hand column is what one of our suppliers (V.G.C.) has explained about clones against the ‘real’ thing.

We have also selected our own preferred golf sets---we hope you enjoy these pages and of course find something useful.

OUR PREFERRED SUPPLIERS

BUYING GOLF CLUBS.

As with so many things in life, the price does not tell the whole story. People, who think that only the price or brand determines how a club will perform for you, are happy to patronize their local pro shop, and often end up buying the golf clubs the shop owner happens to make the most money on.  But if you, like us, instead ask yourself ’is this driver really worth $500.00?' or 'is this iron set really worth $1,200.00?' (and answer yourself 'I doubt it'), then you're at the right website!

First the Shaft!

" Will this shaft work well with this club head?" By asking this question, the customers are taking the position that the club head is the principle component of a golf club. We believe that the golf shaft is the engine of the golf club and the most important component in club performance.

The way to determine the flex you need is by your clubhead speed.  The following can be a guide to determine your clubhead speed: (have your clubhead speed measured if at all possible)

If your swing speed is less than 70 MPH (You choose a 3 Iron or a 3 or 5 Wood from 150 yards) you should use a Ladies flex.
If your swing speed is 70-80 MPH (You choose a 4 or 5 Iron from 150 yards) you should use a Senior flex.
If your swing speed is 81-96 MPH (You choose a 6 or 7 Iron from 150 yards) you should use a Regular Flex.
If your swing speed is above 95 MPH (You choose a 8 or 9 Iron from 150 yards) you should use a Stiff flex.

Be honest with yourself about your swing! Choosing a flex that is too stiff is a common mistake that will hurt your game!

More information on shafts can be found at V.G.C. golf

Clubheads

We are offering the best cloned clubs, V.G.C. as well as all the ‘named’ brands to be found at Goldsmith golf. Callaway enthusiasts can visit ‘Callaway Pre-Owned’ who offer some remarkable deals and trade-in facilities. We hope you like our Personal Selection; payment details for these are on the relevant pages.

Putters are rather more personal but we have shown a number of different designs—perhaps you have seen one in the shop or in someone’s hands before, that helps.

Clone Golf Clubs

Written by V.G.C.

We are your source for golf club clones and discount golf clubs featuring Integra, SMT, Bang, Acer and many more! Our golf club clones and discount golf clubs offer you game improvement at excellent prices, and that's where the VALUE of our golf equipment comes in. Value does not mean cheap golf clubs, it means bang for your buck! Some call them knock off golf clubs, though that is an incorrect negative term. Knock-off golf clubs are an attempt to confuse the consumer into thinking they are buying an OEM product. The products we sell stand on their own merit! Integra, SMT, Bang and all our other featured lines have been making quality heads for many years. Our club makers take their craft seriously, and are GCA certified.

Name Brand vs. Golf Club Clones

We may often ask the customer to compare our golf sets to the likes of Callaway, Ping, Nike, Taylor Made, Titleist, and others. However, the products   we sell, which are made from very high quality components and incorporating some innovative features which do appear on Pro-line, stand on their own merit and are not copies of original equipment brands. The technology is the technology
